Barony Youth Theatre will be presenting The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in March 2024.
Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy embark on a magical mystery tour to the Land of Narnia through the wardrobe. There they encounter the wicked White Witch, representing the forces of evil, and the King of the Beasts, Aslan the lion, representing all that is good and right. Will they defeat the White Witch and have good triumph over evil?
Since covid, BYT have not been able to perform a fully scripted play, but now we are back with a bang! We are all extremely excited to be performing ‘The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe’, not just that but we are kicking off The Barony’s 70th anniversary programme. We have so many wonderful new members this year and it has been great getting to know new young people and watching some of or long term members stepping up to more senior roles. To make this production even bigger and better we have roped in a bigger technical team, more costumiers, a stage manager, set designer and even someone to make a puppet! We hope you will enjoy this journey to Narnia as much as we have, just make sure to bring your fur coat!
