“Thank you for such a wonderful night enjoying ‘The Steamie’. The acting was just superb! Have not laughed so much in ages. We have been to many of your shows and I think this one might just be my favourite to date.”

“First class, totally believable performances from all of the actors – they had me completely captivated me right from the very start. My sides are still hurting from all of that laughing! And well done too, all of you behind-the-scenes workers. I know you did an excellent job, ‘cos I never noticed you doing it! Thanks to everyone else involved, from the programme sellers to the car parking organisers and everyone in between. Combined, you all provided a wonderful evening’s entertainment for me and the rest of the audience. Brilliant stuff!”

This perennial comedy hit is sure to have you laughing and crying in this nostalgic, sad and very funny play. It’s Hogmanay and Dolly, Magrit, Doreen and Mrs Culfeathers, with a little help from the not-so-handy Andy, are in a Glasgow wash house getting the washing done before the bells. Come and join them as they share memories, tell jokes, talk about their families, look to the future and sing a few songs.
