Community theatre in Bo'ness
We are excited to announce our programme of plays for 2026. They include:
4th – 9th May – Brassed Off
23rd – 27th June – Constellations
27th – 31st Oct – Dracula
9th – 12th Dec – A Barony Christmas Carol

There have been lots of improvements happening over the summer months to improve the front of house for everyone.
The entrance, lounge and bar areas have all been freshly painted, and we have created a new ‘Box Office’, with new desk and lighting to ensure you know where to buy or pick up your tickets and have them validated too.
The lounge and bar areas have had new built-in seating, tables and chairs to maximise the seating available and to make it more comfortable for customers to relax and enjoy a pre-show and interval drink or two. In addition, we have installed new gallery lighting with the fabulous framed photos of shows gone by – a real trip down memory lane and what a wonderful archive of the work of the Players over the last 70+ years!
We have installed a new, larger bar upstairs to increase the speed of serving and new undercounter fridges which will ensure all drinks are chilled to perfection. And of course, we will be taking interval orders to ensure you can all enjoy your drinks with plenty of time for a chat without queuing.
The kitchen has had a complete overhaul with new units, worktop, oven and instantaneous hot water tap which is a great improvement for serving teas and coffees during shows and for ensuring any functions can be well catered for. We may even start a regular café slot for the community on a Saturday each month – watch this space!!
We hope you love the improvements we have made so far to enhance your visit and make it as enjoyable and special as a trip to any professional theatre. All while keeping the roots of the community theatre squarely at the heart of what we do.
Thank you to our member John Knox, who has updated our logo. This reflects member feedback but stays close to our original design but is cleaner and more modern, representing our ongoing growth as a group.

Normal membership cost is £35 per year. But for this year only in celebration of the Barony’s 70th Birthday. Membership for June 2024 to May 2025 will be 70 pence
We have set aside 100 memberships for 2024/25 which are selling fast !!
