Reginald Rose adapted for stage by Sherman L Sergel
19th – 20th November 2021
Our first productions following Covid pandemic was a collection of short plays and rehearsed readings to encourage our audiences back into the theatre.
We were delighted to get the rights to perform 12 Angry Men as a rehearsed reading.
Following the closing arguments in a murder trial, the 12 members of the jury must deliberate. A guilty verdict means death for the accused, an inner-city boy. As the 12 men try to reach a unanimous decision, one juror casts doubt on elements of the case. Personal issues and conflicts rise to the surface and threatens to derail the delicate process that will decide the boy’s fate.
“Great performance tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed being back at a Barony show. Well done everyone.”
“Congratulations to everyone on tonight’s play. A powerful performance full of intense emotions. Well done to you all.”
“Loved the performance tonight! It was a great way to come back to your wonderful theatre. Such excitement from everyone and a great job by the men! Thanks to everyone”
